Towers of Sorcery -
The following spells are only available to Guild members of the Towers of Sorcery
Look
VOCALS “{Elemental} lend me thy sight, that I might see hither”
DESCRIPTION With this spell the caster can see up to his level + 2" (centred on caster) in a suitable reflective surface. NB: Will see area as if was looking down upon it, so if it is pitch black, that is what he will see.
MECHANICS Elementals will show mage a vision of the surrounding area.
Sandblast
VOCALS ‘Sands blow hot, blast forth to sear, blind and batter my enemies!’
DESCRIPTION This spell acts as a wind blast (see air spell). The sand effect means that it also blinds those in its area of effect.
Bolster – 1-
2 – Need strength 2 to resist
3 – Heats sand hotter causing a triple through every 5 seconds. Sand also gets into clothing and armour causing damage for 5 extra seconds when out of blast.
4+ need extra level of strength to resist.
Freeze
VOCALS “Darkness of the Abyss Freeze that (target) ”
DESCRIPTION This Spell causes a block of ice to form around the victim, the block is impervious to damage and cannot be melted. The block can be dispelled (vs casters level) , the victim is unaware of what happens around them. It lasts for 15 minutes or 1 enc (whichever is shortest).
MECHANICS This spell is a darkness version of the fire spell remove heat.
